We are in the Bragg area, and like to go to Raleigh on the weekends. They have a lot to do, and awesome places to eat! To be honest, we don't particularly enjoy the Bragg area at all, though there are some nice hidden things to do. We love going to the Botanical Gardens, We have been to the paraclete place in raeford a few times, laser tag, and a few other things.. But really, not much.

I laughed a little. My husband and I are stuck over near Goldsboro. We consider trips into Fayetteville a small get a way. 🙈Lol.

We moved away from Fort Bragg about 6 years but when we were there I found that a lot of the stuff we like to do we had to go outside of Fayetteville on weekends we would often visit: Wilmington Beach (about 1 1/2 hours away), Charlotte (about 3 hours), Asheville (about 4 hours), and Raleigh. We like to spend time outdoors so we would often go to Raven Rock in Lillington and hike/kayak or go kayaking on the Cape Fear. We took several weekend trips out to the mountains and hiked or went snow skiing (Sugar Mountain).
