    Anyone been indoor skydiving?

    Advertisements
For Valentine's Day I'm going to surprise DH and we're doing an indoor skydiving thing. So it sounds really cool but I'm getting nervous as it gets closer!

I don't really like heights and I really hate feeling like I'm getting dropped (like on roller coasters with big hills or those rides that just lift you up in the air and drop you straight down). But I've heard people say that the indoor skydiving isn't like that and it just kinda feels like you're floating instead ... which would be easier for me to handle.

Either way it's not like I'm going to back out of it but I'm curious now, if anyone has done it how was it and what was it like? Maybe you can ease my fears ...

I did it like 12 years ago so I don't really remember it that much, but I don't remember it feeling like a roller coaster at all. My whole family went and my brothers were just little kids at the time and they weren't scared or anything. I don't actually remember anything about it but I know we had fun.

I have! I went to IFly in the Bay area and it was a lot of fun They make you take this class beforehand where you learn how to position yourself, etc.
It's been about 5 years but I also remember it ore as a floating experience rather than a rollercoaster.

I've never done indoor skydiving, but I've done outdoor skydiving, you're not changing directions really quick or anything which is what gives you that feeling on roller coasters. It's kind of relaxing.

What a good idea! I might copy it for DH and my MIL to do.
