    Heat issues

    Advertisements
Anyone else have issues with heat?
Dh didn't turn our heat down last night and left it at 71 all night. Now wouldn't be so bad if the vent wasn't right over my side of the bed.
I slept like crap from the heat coming on all through the night and now I'm up with a headache and hot flashes unless I go stand outside.
I hate heat. Summer is awful for me. I get heat sickness super easy. Going to theme parks takes two days of planning and lots of extra gateraid.

Sounds awful, I'm sorry! I can't sleep if it's too hot, either. I hate being hot and DB actually sleeps on the side of the bed closer to the vent because I hate when it warms me.

Can you turn the vent off, or redirect the air? If you rent - can you speak with your landlord? Hope the issue is resolved quickly!

Heat is terrible for me too. Cold is also terrible because I have bad circulation and my hands go numb and are useless, but I mostly prefer that over feeling nauseous all day every day.

And I was raised in Florida! I should be able to handle the heat but I cannot.

Heat is horrible to me. I get dizzy, sick, and start vomitting. I close the vents in my room in the winter. Then I put foil over the vent to redirect it back into circulation. My heat only gets turned on when it drops to 55 in the house. And then it is only at 62.

That's awful.. I definitely don't have issues like that with heat, thankfully. Hope the room cools off for you!

Wondering if its worth going to the DR for. I use to not be like this, well at least not this bad. It got worse after my kids were born.

I get dehydrated and my throat hurts if I sleep with the vent open and heat going but my house heats more evenly with just the downstairs vents open anyway.
