    Advertisements
What's for dinner? I'm making mashed sweet potatoes for the first time and we're eating them with black bean burgers (odd pairing, but oh well).

    Whatcha making?

I eyeballed! I got two GINORMOUS (like seriously the size of Teddy's head) sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed them and boiled til fork tender. then under a quarter cup of milk, just under a quarter cup of dark brown sugar, a teeny pinch of cinnamon, some salt, and about 5 tbsp butter...VOILA! The burgers are courtesy of Morningstar farms

The potatoes came out DELICIOUS. like seriously amazing. TRY THEM

Adjust as you need based on the potatoes you use! I've never seen ones as big as the ones I used today, so I only used two and got a full big Pyrex bowl of mashed potatoes from them. Eyeball and add!

I have a pound of ground turkey to use up.... Dunno what I'm gonna do yet.... maybe add Italian seasonings and brown it and add to pasta sauce?

Anyone else have ideas? I bought a 3-lb pack and the other 2 lbs are making crockpot turkey pumpkin chili tomorrow
