    S/O Surprises

    Advertisements
Do you like surprises, or being surprised? Or are there certain kind of surprises you like, but others you don't?

I personally love them all, and love doing them. I mean, I flew from HI to NY to surprise my parents when I hadn't seen them in a year. The look on their faces was priceless and completely worth it. Just a few weeks ago, my mom surprised us by coming out to visit us and slept over.

Or when DH will surprise me with a gift I wasn't expecting, it gives me warm fuzzies. I love buying DH things without his knowledge, or making a surprise date night dinner and have it waiting for him when he gets home.

    So, surprises....yay or nay?

Hate surprises. The only surprise I ever liked is when DH bought Toby Keith tickets & hid them in one of the xbox games.

"Thank you so much. No matter what, nothing is possible without you behind the scenes bustin heads and takin names. Thank you again. Everything you have done for me means a lot and nothing has gone unnoticed. I love you so much and thank you for saying 'I do.'"

I guess Landon and I should turn the car around and not show up at your doorsteps

I think that's literally the only surprise I couldn't do And it's not because I wouldn't love it, but because I don't have the restraint to wait that long to know

I said other cause .....I'm fine with spur of the moment surprises, like "here's a bag of candy!". DH flew into town when we were dating, and showed up at my workplace to surprise me and I was super happy about that, no issues. But if I think about surprises, like homecoming type stuff, I think that I would hate it. Until the last few days, when I was totally fine with the idea of a surprise. So I guess I like them, I've never been upset. But I have the worst face ever to show happiness or anything, so I never look excited...I think that is why people don't surprise me more often. When DH showed up at work, I just sat there like "oh....you're here...cool" even though I was really happy! I've been trying to be more expressive.........

That's not a surprise, though - that's as it should be! (we did it too!)

I guess I do. I mean I don't want DH to tell me any presents and I like surprise flowers and stuff. But I've told my husband if he ever throws me a surprise party I won't go I just can't do it.

And I'm awful at keeping secrets like that. Lol I have a few surprised for DH when he gets home from his underway. I wrote him an email and signed it "ps I have some surprises for you". He HATES surprises. He's so nosy he needs to know everything
