    We don't eat ANYTHING like the US one shows. That's a pretty crazy difference generally speaking though!

    The US picture looks nothing even remotely close to what a week of food in our house looks like We have a lot more fresh fruits and veggies, breads, meats, and other things like that!

    I can't remember the name of the book this was published in, but if you can find the ones with the stats of how much they spend and their weekly income, it's particular compelling.

    For some that week looks like nearly my food for a MONTH. For a couple countries I feel so bad because there is so little and it is the same thing.

    The US one looks nothing like what I eat. In fact, most of the stuff it showed, I either hate or never eat. (Potato chips, 2 liters of soda? all that milk? No thanks!) Italy is perhaps the closest to what I eat, but even then... And obviously this is a scaled down thing because it's just me, not a family of 4-9.
