    What words

Do you hate spelling/choosing the correct form?

I hate grey/gray. I don't know WHY of all things in this world I can't remember which one means the color.

I have decided to start using 'dirty-white' as an alternative.

    They're actually both the colour...

But gray is American spelling, and grey is the British.

Since moving to England, my spelling has changed....

It is now: realise, prioritise, colour, favourite, theatre etc. And it bugs me. Because when I write to Americans back home I like to change the spelling back to 'American'...but I get confused.

Also, it's/its.....I am forever going in my head 'am I saying it is??' to try to get the correct spelling!
I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so you can learn to let go.
Things go wrong so you can appreciate them when they're right.
You believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself.
And sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

Ah, see I always thought 'Grey' was a name, and 'gray' was a color. You learn something everyday...

Separate. I always want to spell it "seperate".

Gray/grey always bothers me as well. They couldn't just choose ONE of them for everything?

Yeah, when I type I always type 'seperate' and it gets corrected for me, so when I write it out it looks so weird. Well, weird because it's wrong.

Insure/ensure used to get me, too, until I finally realized that insure ONLY meant insurance.

I have trouble with to/too and occasionally it's/its. Affect and effect. Words I just have difficulty spelling in general include restaurant and sandwich. Uhm. Using data correctly in a sentence because it's plural but it sounds singular. Yeah.
