    Tropical Storm Beryl

We were without power from about 1am until 8am this morning. Made for a long hot night of crappy sleep. We went riding around today to see the damage. The water downtown got wicked high, there is debris all over and trees down left and right. It is amazing the size of some of the trees that came down.

This is my street earlier today.

A tree down not too far from me

This is a boat launch downtown. I have never seen the water this high before.

One of the pretty palm trees that framed the fountain in the downtown park

All the debris that washed up, this whole area was underwater last night

    Up the sidewalk same spot

Looking in the other direction a huge tree was uprooted

There was still partially flooded roads downtown, a mini cooper was in front of us and we weren't sure if he was going to make it through

I was wondering if you guys lost power, I wanted to go downtown but I didn't think my beater would make it. Looks like they got the worst of it. All I saw here was the street sign got broken.

After tropical storm fay like four years ago or whenever, my street totally flooded and people were kayaking. Weather is crazy! I can't believe a tropical storm did all that damage.
