Question Speaking of cars... Who drives a mini-van??

    Advertisements
That's right, admit it! Who drives a mini-van?? Adam and I desperately need to upgrade our vehicle, especially if we want to have baby #3 anytime soon, and we think a van would probably be the best option for us. So, what kind do you drive, how do you like it, how is the gas mileage, is the payment killing you, etc?

    TIA!

Not I. We have a JEEP Commander.

    I do

I love it! But we travel/camp a lot it really comes in handy

I drive a 2004 Dodge Grand Caravan. Not new, but its still an asset

Gas mileage is pretty good... I used to work 20 miles from home and I only filled up once a week

I bought it in 2008 with 20K miles on it. I paid out right for it: $16,900 so no payment. So IDK about that.

I don't have any kind of an aversion to a van. I am not an SUV fan, either. I want whatever is going to work the best for us, and the way a van is set up seems to make a lot more sense than any other car.

I have the captain chairs for the girls, they're both in booster seats now. I love that with a click of the button the doors slide open/close. Especially when I have my hands full. The stroller fit awesome in the back and I took the back seat out while DD#2 was little and we needed the bigger stroller with the toddler seat on the back of it. Plus room for groceries and whatever else. My folks live 6 hours from us, so I would always travel with luggage there then they always send me home with something extra, plus I keep a cooler back there, too - my dad always makes waaaay too much and sends me home with the leftovers

I don't, but MIL does. She has a Honda Odyssey and says it is worth every penny, very reliable, not too bad on fuel, and super spacious. It is the only vehicle they've ever gotten brand new, but I didn't ask specifically about her payments. I've ridden in it and it IS nice and roomy.
