I had a very productive day packing. I'm moving out the apartment I've been living in for 3 years on Monday so I have quite a bit of stuff.

Other than that...I'm about to head out to meet up with The_Lepus!

I had an awesome nap. And my rat isn't dead.

I tried giving him a treat, but he was so conked out he didn't even budge when I was poking him. I almost had a heart attack. Once I stuck the banana on his face, he woke up. He's back to sleeping on his back with his feet in the air though.

One of my students said he loved me. He only says a handful of words so it was so sweet. I cried.
I only have two more weeks and I'm offof work for the summer.
DB did a load of laundry for me.

DH got on before work to chat for an hour today So that was a wonderful surprise! I rented the Vow, but I wasn't very impressed-- which is unfortunate because I was SO excited to see it!

It was just...honestly, really a big turn-off to me The character Rachel McAdams played was completely unrelatable for me. I wouldn't have made any of the choices she did, so I just felt a disconnect, you know? Like, I couldn't help thinking, "What an unstable, unreliable life! I would never be an artist instead of a lawyer!" And even he didn't have a practical career. It seemed so...like the romanticized, head-in-the-clouds stuff that people want to do when they're 20, before they realize how impractical and unreasonable it is

I'm more for reliability and stability. Guess I'm just a square.

My husband has staff duty so I get to lay around and marathon Greys anatomy all day and sleep diagonally in the bed tonight and then hell probably bring us McDonald's breakfast in the morning.
