    I'm curious - I know everything tastes better with bacon . . .

but what texture is acceptable to you?

Should it be soft? crunchy? burnt? medium? other?

Crunchy... Think almost burnt but without the burnt taste & you've got it

My name is lynn, and I choose Other!

But really, it should be a mixture between medium and cripsy.

Other. I want it to be crunchy, but still very juicy. I also don't like thin bacon-- only super, super thick cut. I like to buy steak cut or the kind that comes in a big multi-pound slab at the store. That's my kinda bacon

    Other, of course.

I like it different for different uses. I like it crunchy to put on sandwiches, but medium to eat. I cook it soft for recipes like my baked beans where it's going to get mixed in and cooked more when it bakes. Almost burnt if it's going to be crumbled up and used to sprinkle on a completed dish.
