The Thread of Things You Can't Afford

Lets see those wish list items...

I have been looking at patio furniture now that the weather is warming up and I found the perfect chairs for DH and I's future apartment patio...only problem is the 2 chairs and 2 ottomans would cost $2,000 one day!

and of course I would need to have a monogrammed decorative pillow made for each one. damn you Pottery Barn for making things I love but cannot afford!

I can afford it but to me it's not a necessity so I'm not going to waste my money on it

"Thank you so much. No matter what, nothing is possible without you behind the scenes bustin heads and takin names. Thank you again. Everything you have done for me means a lot and nothing has gone unnoticed. I love you so much and thank you for saying 'I do.'"

Best mixer in the world. It still doesn't make my baking any better though

DH mom has a KitchenAid from before DH was born 25 years about and it works like a champ.

I hope to have mine that long.

I visited a friend in Madrid last month. She invited me to do Paris together next year. But I probably can't afford it.

I have one, but I rarely use it, because it's SO heavy and such a hassle to get out and clean. I do if I'm baking a lot, but that's about it.

This sounds stupid because we are, by NO means rich, but I can't think of anything! I mean, there are PLENTY of things we can't afford, I just can't think of anything I really want!

My problem is I usually just buy the things I can't afford and then just skimp on groceries and doing ANYTHING else for a few months.

Perk of being single, no one suffers from my decisions except me

It is really heavy and flour gets all in it so it does get hard to clean. We are lucky enough to have tons of counter space and just leave it out. If it didn't get left out I could see it hardly getting used.
