    Advertisements
to reply from a text from the day before?

My DHs SIL who I'm not really close with replied to a text I sent her yesterday at 6:30a this morning. Now I can't go back to sleep and I'm kinda grumpy. She knows I'm not up at 6:30a!!!!

Since it's a weekday, any time past 9 should be fine. Before that is rude IMO

Thank you!!! I completely agree! Unless you know for a fact the person is awake before then.

I never reply before 9am unless I'm up and they text something urgent like say at 6am. Like my kids, they get to school early and will text me stuff before school starts and we may text a few times back and forth.

I figure even if someone is up, they're probably busy with morning routines.

Never before 9, unless you KNOW they're up.

Pfft, I don't care when people text me. The only people that text me really early, I know when they're up, and they know when I'm up.

I never wake up to texts. So I don't really know.

I sleep like a baby right through them!

If it had been 8 or 8:30 then ok that's fine. I'm awake by then. But I'm not awake at 6:30 and DHs SIL know that. To top it off she sent me a message on Facebook with the exact same thing she text me.

I don't care when people text me either. I text whenever it is best for me . Sometimes that is at 9:00pm sometimes that is at 6:00am. I sleep with the phone next to my head, but I shut off the text sounds because I know not everyone is in the same time zone or lives by the same schedule I do.

I usually just respond when I read them.
