I was telling DH about this last night.

When my aunt was a kid she collected My Little Ponies... she didn't have any reason to, other than being a REALLY PROTECTIVE child, but she kept the backs of the boxes with the little storybooks on them in like sheet protectors, and she never played with her ponies, just looked at them- never even brushed their hair.

Anyway. About five, maybe ten years ago she made almost 50k on her old My Little Ponies because they were original editions and she had the box backs and they were in perfect condition.

Freakin toys. I cut off all my toys' hair that had it, so mine would have been worth .07 cents.

I had VERY few of those toys...the ones that I did have burned up in a house fire when I was 7. My nephew had stretch armstrong..but I'm pretty sure he pulled the arms off

I have a big box of collector Barbies I am holding onto until they are worth more to sell.

WOW. I definitely played with my toys until they fell apart. My brothers took the heads off all my Barbies and used them to play basketball with the trash cans

yeah, you can list something on ebay for a million dollars, that does not mean someone will pay that amount. You can buy a Sega for $20 at comicbook stores
