    Master's Degree

    Advertisements
So for some reason I was thinking about degree's and titles.
People have their Doctorate's are called doctors, and you should always call them by their title because they have paid a lot of money and put in a lot of work into getting that degree, right?
But people who have their Master's pay a lot of money and put in a lot of work into getting their degree as well, and not everyone has a Master's so i believe that we should start giving people with Master's the title of "Master".

example. Prof. Jane Doe who has her master's would be Master Doe just as if she had her doctorate her title would be Doctor Doe

    Anyone with me?

I know a guy who is really into BDSM. Lots of people call him Master

But I agree that people who get their MA should get SOMETHING. That could be because I'm halfway through a Masters in history, and dammit I want that extra $20,000 in education to get me a title!

Haha, half the people I work with would have to be called Master so and so! (I'm a teacher - lots of us have masters)

Finally together in Okinawa and ready to start some new adventures together!

hahaha All of my professors have Master's and that is kind of where this idea came from.
I know it is a little ridiculous but I feel like they should get some recognition.

LOL I think I would actually feel uncomfortable if people started calling me Master. Maybe a different title but that would be strange.

Honestly it doesn't bother me if I don't get that recognition from people for having my degree. On a professional level the people I work with know my qualifications so that's enough for me.

There's more masters degrees than an MA. I have a MHS.
