I made chocolate bread! It came out PERFECT.

Now looking up some good recipes for banana bread... I have a few mushy bananas ready to be cooked.

    Sure!

Its made for a bread machine so basically ingredients are thrown in, turn it on and go. I'm sure it can be modified for oven baked bread though.

Ingredients 1 pound loaf or 1.5 pound loaf
    milk 2/3 C or 1 C
vanilla 1 tsp or 1.5 tsp
    1 egg
    margarine or butter 1 Tbsp
    bread flour 2 C or 3 C
brown sugar 2 Tbsp or 3 Tbsp
unsweetened cocoa powder 1 tsp or 4 tsp
salt 1/2 tsp or 3/4 tsp
    Active dry yeast 1 tsp
    semi sweet chocolate chips 1/2 C or 2/3 C

I also add some chocolate syrup to my bread to get a little more chocolate flavor in there.

Since I'm nipping your choclate bread recipe, I'll share my Grandmother's Banana Nut Bread recipe--not for a bread machine but easy nonetheless...

Mix together: 2 cups flour, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp baking soda

Cream together: 1 cup sugar and 1/2 cup butter
Add 2 eggs one at a time
    Add 2 mashed bananas
    Add dry ingredients

Fold in 1/2 cup nuts (I recommend chopped walnuts)

    makes 2 loaves with 3 x 6 1/2 pans, 1 loaf in a regular bread pan

    Bake 45 to 50 minutes at 350

    Very very yummy.
