In some circumstances. Of course I never advocate someone do anything illegal just because they act older or are more mature. But if it concerns something that is not illegal and no one will get in trouble for whatever than yeah who cares the age.

I do not believe age is "just a number". If we're talking about dating and so forth, it has been my experience that I have a hard time relating to people more than 2-3 years older/younger than my age. When it gets to that point, then we're talking about growing up in different generations, and I prefer to date those who are within my generation.

When it comes to laws and age-related laws, I try to have faith in the law and the reason why certain ages were picked for different cut-off points. JMO.

I do not believe that age is just a number. In child predator situations, that doesn't apply...

It depends on the circumstances I think.

It depends what we are talking about. Most cases I would say yes, it is just a number but there are other cases like mentioned by Victoria where it definitely matters.

I think it depends on the situation. But I know its really difficult to be with someone of a different age who is at a completely different life stage.
