Do you mind being called "pet names" on here. Like, hun, babe, love, sweetie, ect? Do you hate being called them? Are there some you don't mind, and some you do?

It just got me thinking because I'm the kind of person that almost always calls someone 'love' or 'sweetie.' Idk, it's always a term I used for endearment for someone I care about And it just occurred to me that some people might not like that

So what's your stance on it?

I do it all the time on here and in person.

So, no it doesn't bother me for someone to do it to me. I had not idea it was unliked.

I had a girl at one point on here when I posted and called her sweetie, she said "I hate when people do that, so I'd appreciate it if you didn't call me any pet names." I was 'oooookkkaayy then'

I do it all the time, sometimes even to guys (which always makes things awkward) Mostly though, because I'm terrible with names and get embarassed and just call somebody "sweetie" or "hun"

But it's just something I've always done. I like being called cute names too

I'm with ya! But honestly, even if I know your name I end up calling you either sweetie or love anyway cause that's just how I talk IRL. I call all my friends that

I seriously thought this was about the visitor message I left you calling you sweetie saying you didn't like it or something.

I tend to do it very often when talking to friends. It's always hun, sweetie, lovely, etc. DH is always babe. I never use his real name unless I'm mad or jokingly scolding him. Matt is always monkey, monkey butt, chunk, chubby cheeks or stinker. I just seem to like pet names.
