    Sirius/XM Merger

    Advertisements
Update: Ignore the question above the poll please! I messed it up. It's supposed to read: Do you think Sirius/XM is better or worse since the merger.

    OP:
For those of you with Sirius/XM satellite radio: Was it better before the merger or is it better now?

    Poll incoming.

I voted about the same. I have sirius, and I haven't really noticed too much of a difference. I still listen to the same stuff I was listening to before, but I do know some channels changed numbers. So not much changed for me.

Your options don't make much sense to me in relation to the question, so I'll answer here:
I liked my XM better before the merger. It was really irritating to get in the car one morning and find all my favorite stations changed. I barely listen to it anymore.
    Oh, hey. I'm back!

Sorry I just realized the options and the questions don't correlate. That's what I get for trying to do more than one thing at once.

It's cool, I just didn't know how to answer it in the poll.
    Oh, hey. I'm back!

Must be about the same because I didn't know they were doing it and mine hasn't changed any.

For me, it's worse. The station I listen to is suddenly a ton of programs designed to "help bring you closer to the music" instead of just music like it used to be. We had Sirius before the merger and I loved the new country station. Hardly any talking, just music music music. Now that it's "The Highway", there's all these programs like Shortcuts and Drivers' Ed and Artist Confidential. They aren't bad programs, they just aren't what I'm interested in.
