My in-laws do things by months. Everyone that has a birthday in March[6] celebrate together and everyone that has a birthday in June/July[3] celebrate together.. & We will celebrate hubbs' birthday at Christmas time because his is 3 days after.. It just makes it easier for them to do it all together that way we're not all going 50 different places at 50 different times.

We don't really talk to his family anymore. But I usually encourage him to at least send his mom a card. If we're living together, I'll buy it and he'll sign it.

I did when we were dating, but lol I don't anymore. I have to make DH call his parents on special days lol...he really doesn't feel the need to talk with them.

I do. I don't always do someting especially from me, but sometimes I'm the one to call then hand the phone to him, sometimes he calls and then hands it to me. It just varies. If we give them a gift it's from both of us and we usually present it together, unless there are extenuating circumstances. Now ,ask if they remember mine.

We send cards to everyone, and then usually a gift card or something easy to mail to his mom.

I have a crazy good memory for things like that, so I always remember at least DB's parents bdays if not his brothers/SIL/niece/nephew's too.

I at least make sure DB sends them a card (he always forgets their birthdays...) and usually I'll do something small to send to them.
