    Giggle High School syllabus

    Advertisements
So I'm here going over and signing syllabi for exchange DD's classes. I'm reading over her Spanish class syllabus right now. I bet she won't ever fall asleep in this class, because this is what I just read:

    • No sleeping in class. If caught, I will ask you to stand up and you will remain standing for the rest of the time.

Haha ive heard of that before! I think my sr chief in JROTC was worse though. . . If you dozed off, or even looked sleepy, he would sneak up behind you with an air horn and then spray water at you. . .

that was a policy in some of my high school classes. It was rarely enforced but it was quite comical to see some dude, and it was almost always boys, standing around and STILL dozing off during the middle of class.

I had a teacher in Highschool that would walk around with a big red wiffle ball bat with the end cut off. It was Economics in a nice comfortable classroom by the way. he would wait for you to fall asleep then slam the bat down on your desk as hard as he could. The sound was deafening and to see the kids shit their pants was priceless..

My physics teacher would play pranks on sleeping students. One time, he got all the other students to quietly leave the class room and he turned off the lights and closed the door. He banged on the door to make a sound to wake the kid up and the kid FREAKED OUT thinking he had missed class or something.

    I loved that teacher.
