Giggle My marines at a tea party...

    Advertisements
While I was writing a letter to one of the guys in Iraq today I had this random memory of when I was about 4 or 5 and my brother, then a young Marine was home for the weekend with a couple of his buddies, "Six" and Nathan. They both had families and Six had a younger sister, so we were like their "adopted" families for a long time. They always played games with me and I probably bugged them to death. But there was this one time when I snickered all three of them into a tea party. They had flower aprons, pink and blue bonnets and hats, dollies, and each one was holding a dainty little teacup..... I don't know WHY we didn't get a picture of that...it was priceless!!!

How adorable. Says a lot about them that they would play along! My brother used to hang my barbies and pop their heads off. No tea parties.

That would have been a great picture!

I have pictures of when I used to dress my brother up as a fairy princess. Granted he was younger than me and I had convinced him that all super heroes wore makeup.
Where are we going and why are we in a handbasket?
