Do you have a separate mouse or do you use the pad on your laptop?

I'm seriously considering getting a wireless mouse, so I'm just curious.

The pad for most things, but if you get a mouse it doesn't wear out like the mousepad does. For me, the purpose of the laptop is the self contained, all in one machine, so I use the mousepad (and a LOT of keyboard shortcuts)

The pad. We have a mouse that we never use.

Also, a mouse is generally faster than the pad, and also has more range, like if you're playing solitaire and want to move a card from a stack on one end to a stack on the other (not that I'm playing solitaire or anything ), it gets frustrating with the pad.

If you have a mouse plugged in, you can still use the mousepad on 98% of laptops, though, too, so it's not like you have to choose.

Control is an illusion, you infantile egomaniac. Nobody knows what's gonna happen next: not on a freeway, not in an airplane, not inside our own bodies and certainly not on a racetrack with 40 other infantile egomaniacs.- Days of Thunder(Nicole Kidman)
