Honestly, the books are so much better than the movies will ever hope to be. I loved the movies. But the books have so much more to them.

The movies leave out SO MUCH STUFF! The books are DEFINITELY a must read. The first two or three might be perhaps a bit hard to get through but they just get more and more amazing. DO IT!!! DO IT!!!

The books, as all the PP's have said, are SO much better than the movies.
The movies have to cut so much out that I feel like, if I didn't read the books, I would hardly know what was going on.
I guess I'm biased though. But yes, definitely read the books!
