I'm going to read this weekend, I promise.

So, as it turns out, I have Friday night off and Saturday too. Great! I'll have some alone time since DH isn't going to be here. Thinking of going to the book store and picking up something. I used to be a bookworm, but I can't seem to pick it back up. FRIDAY IS THE DAY. I feel like my brain is going dead from lack of stimulation.

    Can I get suggestions please?

Also, someone please fill me in on the 50 Shades of Grey thing. I keep seeing it everywhere. What is it comparible to?

I am Twilight fan, read other vampire novels as well (The Black Dagger Brotherhood). Love Nicholas Sparks. Love Stephen King. Mystery/suspense is awesome. Chuck Palahniuk is awesome. Steig Larsson too.

Fifty Shades is VERY erotic. It has lots and lots of sex. I haven't read anything like this before so I don't really have anything to compare to. Apparently, Fifty Shades was originally called Master of the Universe (or something) and was a Twilight fanfic, but then the names were changed and viola! You have Fifty Shades of Grey. I never could get into Twilight, but I LOVED Fifty Shades. I'm about to begin the second book, which I hear is even better than the first.
live in such a way that if anyone should speak badly of you no one would believe it ♥

Yeah, I saw it. Didn't read the entire thing. Seems like the reviews are varied. Guess I'm just going to have to see for myself. The Black Dagger Brotherhood series is romance lit and I enjoyed that, so maybe I'll like this. A lot of sex doesn't bother me. Is the story line any good? Or is just "now we're bangin' again..." every other page?

Sunshine by Robin Mckinley features a vampire. And it's wonderful. Seriously. Read it.

I also liked Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter by Seth Grahame-Smith.

It's "Now we're banging again...on every other page."
I mean, like ridiculous sex too.

"The length of him was so enormous..." type. I mean, who would actually EVER say that? Haha.

Husband and I listened to AL:VH on the way home from vacation.
Interesting spin and pretty historically accurate to boot!

If you love vampire stuff I highly recommend Anita Blake series by Laurell K Hamilton the first one is called Guilty Pleasures.
I'm in love with that series.

Alright, I'm going to take a look and see what's out there.

Guess I can just sit on the floor in the bookstore and see how the first few chapters of 50 Shades is. If it's crap, we're going with Abraham Lincoln.

Skip 50 Shades and just go for Abraham Lincoln. It sounds crazy but it is a good read.
