Books for the ride to Alaska?

I need suggestions. I've already read the first Hunger Games book and have loaded the second and third.

Any other ideas? I need easy reads with 2 kids in the car.

No ideas for grown ups, but Crayola Color Wonder saved our sanity during our trip to AK!

For sure! We have a few new toys for both of them and that's one of them.

The Percy Jackson series is really good. The first one was made into a movie about a year ago (not as good as the book but a good movie all around). The Help is a good one, too.

Thanks. I'll look into those. I saw the movie and enjoyed it actually.

Confessions of a Military Wife - Mollie Gross
You Know When The Men Are Gone - Siobhan Fallon (takes place at Fort Hood)
I Love a Man In Uniform - Lily Burana
Girls Don't Poop: Lessons in Anatomy, Hygiene & Sexual Promiscuity (hilarious read! And short, too - like 80 or 90 pages) - Jen Ashton
A Dog's Purpose - W. Bruce Cameron (told in "doggy person" - great read!)

Song of Ice and Fire series. They are easy reads but loooong. They'd probably fill your entire trip with reading material.

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children is a good, quick read. The Help. If you're into historical fiction, anything by Michelle Moran. If you like Stephen King his short story compilations are perfect for traveling. If you like apocalypse/post-apocalypse stories One Second After is really good.
