The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo... trilogy

    Advertisements
I read the first book in this trilogy (the book in the title of the thread) and finished it about a month ago. It was really good!!! (I can't wait to see the movie when it comes out in December)

Now I'm reading the 2nd book in the trilogy. The Girl Who Played with Fire.

Anyone else read any of the books in this trilogy? The author is Stieg Larson.

The final book is The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest.

YES!!! I've read all three, they are sooo good! I really wish the author was still alive so he could finish the series, he wanted to do 10 books total I think.
And I'm really skeptical about this American version of the film, I hope it doesn't ruin the story to much.
But I just love Liz Salander Haha she makes me want to become a hacker

I'm jealous of how smart she is. I want a photographic memory.

I read all three last summer. The first was very slow but I'm glad i didn't quit on it. It picked up closer to the last hundred pages. But I had a hard time putting down the 2nd and 3rd books. The 2nd was my favorite.

But Liz was bad @$$ and I really liked Blomkvist.

I have heard of them but wasn't interested. I didn't look further than the title. I am always interested in finding more books. So you'd suggest them?

    What are they about?

You can rent the Swedish version of the movies. They have it both with sub-titles and voice-over in English. (warning they are VERY graphic)

This is one of those books/series that have caught my eye but I can never decide if I actually want to get it.
