Will someone please be as kind as to explain why Sookie can produce a bluish light when she touches Marianne?

(Hopefully someone knows what I'm talking about).

I have no clue but can someone explain why this episode was 15 minutes short!?! Ruined my night...haha.

I have the book upstairs but it was pissing me off so I stopped reading it. I think I'm going to skip a few chapters tonight(since they seem to go along with the tv show almost to a T) and find out because I want to know too.

second season is NOT AT ALL like the book. at all.
