I can't remember what it is called but it is from the point of view of a dog. It is awesome.
Also, the dog's owner's wife had her baby at home and told her parents to suck it when they said it wasn't as safe as hospitals because statistics show that it is actually safer than hospitals. It is GREAT so far The dog has a fascinating point of view. and the author is a man and still plugs home birth.

I just read a book by Jhumpa Lahiri (who is GREAT, fiction from a Indian-American perspective) and Rule of the Bone by Russell Banks (also great, Banks is one of my fave authors), and now I'm going to read "Oldest Living Confederate Widow" or whatever it's called that I've been hearing about. I'm looking forward to it. Anyone read it? Opinions?
