Summer SIsters - Judy Blume ------that is my FAVORITE summer book! ANd it's nice and thick, so you won't breeze through it...plus it's part steamy/part intrigue/part friendship. It's amazing.
(And an easy read!)

OOO also the Something Borrowed/Something Blue set by Emily Giffen.
Both also great. Heck - one for the flight there, one for the cruise and one for the flight back! heheh

Another good book is Summer Lovin by Carly Phillips... This is the description on it. Zoe's a security specialist and a Costas through and through. Her eccentric, rather dubious family runs an Atlantic City spa that's just this side of legit. So Zoe isn't fooled by the charm or good looks of this "Ryan Baldwin" when he shows up claiming to be related to Sam, the little girl the Costas are about to adopt. But Ryan is Sam's uncle and one of the rich, upright—and uptight—Boston Baldwins. Ryan's search for his sister Faith, the family's black sheep, has led him to news of her death, and a niece he never knew he had. But someone else has also tracked Sam down—someone who never wanted the child found. Ryan is determined to protect Sam and find out what really happened to his sister. And Zoe "Whatever-It-Takes" Costas is just the woman to help him do it...

I enjoy the Stephanie Plum Series by Janet Evanovich. There are like 13 or 14 of them but you really don't have to start at the beginning. They are really funny and easy to read. Also have a bit of mystery and romance. I think the next one comes out sometime this month! I can't wait.

My summer reading has been the Sookie Stackhouse / Southern Vampire series from Charlaine Harris, but it's VERY light reading. I can finish one in under 3 hours, but I'm a fast reader, so for a cruise, I'd have to pack heavy or something that took a bit longer to slog though.
