The American Wife
I got American Wife by Curtis Sittenfeld as a shower gift. I am really getting into it. Seems great so far and I guess it is based (loosley and fictionally) on Laura Bush's life. I'm not into politics and would have never picked it out, but its good. So, has anyone ever read it or any other books by him?

You know... its funny you should mention it. I picked it up at the store earlier today... debated and debated, and then decided not to spend the money on it. Now that you've said you liked it, I will probably go back and buy it. Nothing is worse then paying for a book and then HATING it!

Good to hear! I hope that I can read more of hers. I'm enjoying it more than I thought I would before I started it. I really thought I wouldn't like it.
