Vampire books
Has anyone read the Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead? I really wasn't into the first book, or really no much into the 2nd. but i really REALLY liked the 3rd. I couldn't put it down. I hope the next is just as good.
Also, has anyone read the Dark-Hunter novels by Sherrilyn Kenyon? Umm, i kinda like them. Some of the stories are pretty good. And steamy  What do you all think?

I haven't heard of either of those but I shall check into them. If you're looking for an awesome read..and steamy to boot check out Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series.
  I know of some more but I can't think of them right now. I shall get back to you!

I have the vampire academy book #1. I just havent read it yet. I have a few other books i need to read first. I am glad to know it gets better around book 3 though. I really didnt like book 1 of sookie stackhouse but someone told me the rest were really good so I kept reading and was so glad I did. So, it's good to know whether you should keep reading or not if the first book isnt great.
I have been wanting to read Dark-Hunter novels for a while now, too. I just need to go buy them. |

I read all three and liked them. They weren't the best i have read but not to bad. I don't know if you like all paranormal books but i have a good series on warecats(goofy I know =]) Its by Rachel Vincent, The first book is Stray. I couldnt put them down!!

I have all the Dark hunter books by Sherrilyn Kenyon! In fact, I'm re-reading all of them in order again! I love those books! They are my faves! I even have the dream hunter ones she is writing as well. I'm hopeless!
 I also have all of the dark series by Christine Feehan. Those are a new twist on vampires. I can't wait for her next one in September! Well, in paperback at least. I have a love for romance and supernatural stories all mixed together! I'm such a bookworm!
