I bought the book on cd, because I generally don't finish self help books. I love to read, but not that. The cd is BORING. Maybe it's the way he reads.

My MIL says I have to get past the first section before I get to the 'good stuff'.

The first section is the boring part for sure, it definitely gets better!
    Is your MIL enjoying it?

My MIL recommended it to me. I bought the book and haven't started it yet. It sounds like it's good so I'm going to have to start it soon.

    awesome!
The whole realization I have come to so far with this book is that it is RIDICULOUS how much time I spend in thinking! Im rarely living and actually feeling the pressence of everything around me. It's huge, I really recommend this book to everyone

Yes, my MIL says it has been life changing for her, and she thinks I will greatly benefit from it. With you saying it gets better too, I'll definitely have to give it a second try. Thanks!

I just wanted to bump this up After another week of class and reading this book, I am just beyond impressed. It's something I really think everybody need to read...it really helps you see people for what they are, not just how they act. Everybody has an ego and that ego wants to be superior; it gets defensive, it gets sad, it gets hurt, angry, etc.

I'll tell you guys what At the least it is making me see posts in the BR room a lot differently and have more of an understanding of people.
