What happened to the group reading Love in the Time of Cholera?

Is anyone out there besides me reading it?

I'm reading it, and so is thekels9. I haven't gotten too far yet, but is alright what I have read...hopefully I'll get some time in the next few days to sit down and read a bit!

For me its a little slow starting, but I think once it picks up a bit and gets into the romance I'll be more into it, lol

I would love to read this book, I may go buy it and just be a little behind you guys. I have the "sequel" to The Pillars of the Earth to read too.

Yeah..so it's sitting on my bookcase right now....I think I'll definitely read some of it though this weekend! It is a little slow and confusing at first....but it's alright so far. Haha, it has some high vocabulary though....even for a person with a degree! haha.

Our book club read this in Feb.. I hated it,, what a boring book,,, got tired of always having the first and last name shoved in my face,,
not much of a romance fan to begin with,, but with book club you read what is chosen,, I do like that, I would have never read that on my own..
