    3D Tattoos

    Advertisements
Anyone have one or see one in person? I've seen pics but nothing in person...been thinking about getting one done this summer but am wondering if there is a big difference, visually and pain wise (I'm a total wuss, so I'm expecting it to hurt like a bitch either way!)?

A friend of friend posted this on FB and I really like the detail:

They seem neat. You'd have to have an amazing artist IMO for it

I love how this looks - although I'm getting a dragon, not dragonfly - and it would be on my shoulder, this is on her side / rib cage area

The guy I'd go to, his work is amazing - he did DH's tatt (I'll post a pic in a sec, have to go on my iPad) but I have to see if he could do a 3D one

im not sure why you think it would hurt more. its just more ink, and the placement is a little different to make it look like its 3d. its a visual trick, not like, something that is coming off your skin, kwim? be aware, not all artists are good at that, so you need to really do your research to make sure you get a good one
    we kicked deployment #2's butt!

It really depends on where you get it as far as pain. I've heard neck and ribs are the worst. It's not going to be the best feeling in the world, but it's tolerable IMO.
