    Belly button?

    Advertisements
I have been thinking about getting my belly button pierced, I'm just not sure about the healing process and work. I work around dogs and animals, and I'd be nervous about it being bumped or caught on something.

Tell me your experiences, also anything else you can tell me about them. I haven't started looking up info yet. Just an idea I'm playing with.

    Thank you my beautiful ladies.

I got mine about 5 years ago and I love it!
Mine didn't hurt at all and it didn't get infected. I even had a PT test the next day (I went to a military school) and was able to do all the sit-ups no problem.
I think they're really pretty and I say go for it.
Definitely do it professionally though, my best friend did mine on my bedroom floor.... but what can I say besides "teenagers."

My sister got hers done in January and it was $50. I'm sure every place varies though.

Antibacterial soap, I recommend the orange Dial brand soap, everyday and for the first few weeks a shot glass full of hot/warm salt water on your belly button when you're laying down for about 10 mins a day. The salt water pulls out the start of any infection and cleans everything really well.

i got mine done by some place down at the beach by me, (cost 35 dollars )they guy did it wrong. he had me sit instead of lay down. so eventually my skin broke and i couldn't have one. but while i was visiting db family i decided to get it done again(cost 25 dollars).... even they guy that did my belly button was said he could tell without even seeing the ring... but since he did it, it doesn't hurt at all(minus the piercing itself but i had scar tissue). I have this h20 solution stuff it's suppose to heal it faster, i think it works wonders.

I am around animals and kids all the time and it really doesn't bother me. but if you are afraid of them get a hold of it, i have heard a few people say they use tape and tape over it, but idk.

    I'd go for it!
