I read a lot of blogs about women saying, "Idk if I can do this anymore..it's been so long since we've seen eachother... he's gonna be different.. I'm not even gonna know him anymore!" If you have said any of this at any point during a deployment... Shame on YOU. Different is not always a bad thing. And Different does not always happen with the soldier, women are way more likely to become "different" during a deployment. We, the ones who stay behind will definately become different....

For those who have read my blogs..thank you. I have a few new ideas for my upcoming blogs, but I would kinda like some input as to what(you) the readers actually need advice on. I hope my blogs have been some what helpful to you all.. I've gotten more views than I expected so that's why I'm asking your opinions on what I should write about next. My ideas for future posts have to do with things like.. what to send in care packages, how to keep things spicy while he's gone, dealing with children while...

Some times it completely catches you off gaurd when your deployed man seems to be starting arguments ALL the time!! Has calls or emails become about him accusing you of cheating or accusing you of saying something along those lines or just plain nothings? Have you become different about your aruments than before when he was here.. like instead of trying to prove your point you just keep quiet and let him yell? Or have you contributed just as much in the yelling and arguing only to hang up the phone...

A lot of entries I've read express how they are soo sad but when their Husband/boyfriend calls from overseas they don't tell them how they're feeling. I understand why this happens so often. Many, many FRG or deployment help pamplets for wives of military men lead women to believe that we have to be this sort of "unconditional Strong" for them. They tell us wives or girlfriends that we have to make sure not to stress them out or worry them because their job should come first over there...

Most of us here are dealing with either husbands, boyfriends, or fiances who are in some kind of service. Although all branches are different they have many things that are the same. They all deal with duty, sacrifice, deployments, faithfulness, and the strength that is called upon by not only the service member but more strongly his family. Strength that is hardly acknowledged or praised like it should be.
