Karen's thoughts, rants, etc.

My life’s greatest pleasures have come from knowing, that I have so much to learn about life, and my experiences in the unknowing. I am willing to walk into the uncertainty as a child ready to receive both joy, and sorrow ~ Author Unknown

Ahhh one of the rare moments of blogging about whatever comes to mind....

Do you ever feel people judge you and they don't even "know" you. There are too many drama queens that talk crap and stir sh*t up that some don't know the TRUTH from their own lies. I think it is sad that some people crave attention like that. I am sure there is some sort of psychological disorder that it falls under but since I am not a psych major, I wouldn't know. Feel free to enlighten me

  2. Thoughts....

Without going in to too much personal detail, my 2 latest blogs are what I found while doing some research. They hit very close to home with me as I was once a victim of abuse. I blamed myself for years for what someone else did. To this day, I still do to some degree. I have had to make some extremely difficult choices in my life that others may not have made if faced with the same challenges. We all say "I wouldn't have done things that way if I was in his/her shoes". The truth ...

  3. Spiritual and Biblical thoughts for the day.... (Abuse) pt 1

Is not the abused person being punished for some sin? Isn’t God trying to teach the abused person a lesson? Doesn’t God have a purpose in this abuse?

There is such a thing as reaping what one sows, but that is not all the reaping one does. We reap a great deal that we do not sow—both bad and good. Matthew 5:45 states “…for he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust.” God does want us to grow and we may do s as a RESULT of terrible

  4. Spiritual and Biblical thoughts for the day.... (Abuse) pt 2

Does not the Bible, in Proverbs 13:24, state that to “spare the rod is to spoil the child?”

Nowhere in the New Testament—the “new law”—is abuse justified. Rather, the opposite is expected: “that you love one another as I have loved you.” (John 15:12) We are directed in the “Great Commandment” (Matthew 22:37-40) that “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is

  5. As the summer comes to a close

by , 08-28-2008 at 04:10 PM (Karen's thoughts, rants, etc.)
I can't believe it is already going in to September. This summer has opened a whole new world and array of great friends. I made friends with a girl who contacted me after being treated the same way I was from the same person. I love how I am such a non-judgmental person and give everyone a chance until I have a reason not to. I like to form my own opinions about people and I only hope others do the same for me. I only believe half of what I see and hardly any of what I hear. I have friends ...
