Looking Back A Year Ago...

Pictures were found today from my reception almost a year ago. My mom wanted to know if I had been crying in one of the pictures that a family member had taken. I said no, but I'm sure that it wasn't far off in the picture. It feels wierd, looking at pictures of something that happened a year ago. Maybe because I can't imagine my life with that person anymore. I can see myself, but it doesn't look like me. Where do I even begin? Where do I want to start this blog? I'm doing well! Happier than I have been in such a long time! That's Not Me

Yesterday, I heard this song on the radio that was on a CD that the ex had burned for me almost 2 years ago. My first instinct was to find that CD (I don't know where it is, in a box somewhere), break it so that I never had to hear that song again. My second instinct was, "I hate him."

I was so angry at him- just what he did to me- that that thought crossed my mind yesterday. I do't hate people. That's not me. See, when he gave that CD to me, it was before we got married....

Can't Repair The Broken

Sometimes, things break. And sometimes they can be put back together with a strong glue. Other times, they can be put back together only to fall apart again.

No matter how many times you want to fix something, it won't always go back the same. It can't be repaired. Sometimes, if you try to fix something, it will be worse than if you just left it alone.

We are people who fix things, who want things to work out for the best. The best, in some situations, is not fixing...
