So clearly, my goal of writing a blog everyday didn't work. I guess that's what happened when you start a new job as your significant other gets deployed!

Well, let me update you on what has been going on! My job is beyond stressful and I travel atleast twice a week (hence why I have completely forgotten about this).

Mike has about 8 weeks left in his deployment (probably a little less). I am beyond excited because I can finally say I am past the halfway mark and in the home stretch. But let me tell you, it hasn't been easy at all. We definitely had arguments and had rough times during this deployment, but at the end of the day, I think it made us stronger!

We have found a house and it will officially be ours on September 1st. I definitely need to get in there a week or two before he gets back to do the "womanly" things to it lol.

This has been the longest and most trying months of our relationship EVER. But I must say, when you love someone, you do whatever you can do to make things work. I bit my tongue plenty of times because I didnt want him to endure anymore stress. He is stressed enough being over there. I am grateful that I took my advice and did that. He needed to see that I wasnt being selfish, etc. :-)

Now that I have more time on my hands (my work load is dying down and I have found a house), I hope to have more time to blog over the course of the next few weeks! We may be in the home stretch but we aren't officially done yet!

Will blog again soon :-)

Awe :) I am so happy for you guys that you got a house. "Distance makes the weak weaker and the strong stronger" This is a quote I find myself living by daily... I even have a framed picture of him on my desk with that quote engraved on it :) HAHA! HALF WAY THERE SO CLOSE :) Congrats :)
