Feeling light
but bored as hell
dreaming of flight
even though before i fell
ready for fun
while just sitting and waiting
missing the sun
god, this place i am hating
i need to get out
and breath the fresh air
i just wanna shout
and feel the wind in my hair
i need to be free
and fly like a dove
there’s no place i’d rather be
then with the one i love
maybe if i get out of here
i can start to mend
maybe i can stop the tear
and be a true friend
i dont want to keep crying
if you think you can fix me, then do
i promise to start trying
i hate feeling so blue
i swear i’ll control this rage
just please let me out of this cage
