Wine help

Ok, DB and I don't really drink. I want to get a bottle of wine for us for the special day but I'm not sure where to start. We don't like the bitter tastes of some wines so I'm looking for something sweet and that tastes good (obviously.) On New Year's we picked out a Champagne and wow it was horrible.

So please help! Any suggestions?

um i like Blushes like Llano Winery Blush if you can get it or their Sweet Red. Also i like Muscato D'Asti. They are all sweet and i like them all. not bitter at all.

Thanks! I'll have to look for those. But here's a dumb question. Do I have to go to a liquor store to get those or does the Bxtra or HEB have those? Like I said I'm knew to drinking wine.

Get a white zinfadel or a chardonary. the chardonay is a white, sweet wine. read the label and look for things like "light fruity taste." a favorite of mine is the "Bon Terre" it's an organic white that is Fantastic!

You gotta try Lambrusco Riunite! It's a sweeter red wine, it goes down nicely!

best off going to a liquor store. If you find a decent wine shop you can just go in, tell the guy what flavors you like and how much you want to spend and he'll suggest some things

if you want sweet, go with a riesling!

i like kendall jackson vintner's reserve & snoqualamie (wa).

if you want bubbly, asti spumante.

Well that's 3 so far for Riesling. I may have to really look at that one! I'm wanting DB to like it because he keeps saying wine is nasty, but has only tried it twice. Silly men. So I'm trying to convince him that wine tastes good but because every time I tried it someone else has bought it; I've never paid attention
