    Body Wash Rec?

    Advertisements
I've noticed that I'm starting to break out on my shoulders & upper back.

Does anyone use any type of body was that's geared towards treatment of acne that they could recommend?

I also bought a body scrub at The Body Shop & it doesn't work at all. Thankfully I didn't pay much for it.

Does anyone have an exfoliator/body scrub they'd recommend??

The Neutrogena one I've seen & was curious if it actually worked

Heisenberg, which one would you say is better?

I like dr bronners better (esp the minty one, but the tea tree is supposed to be good for breakouts. Never tried that one, don't know) because I like the scent and the fact that it's a liquid. But the African black soap is good too and probably easier to find. I've seen both at target but African black soap is in the ethnic hair care section at Walmart.

Thank you! I have errands to run today so I'll take a look around & see what we have here.

You can also get a box of stridex pads (red box) and use those. Those are actually probably better for treating the acne than any wash would be. Washes typically don't work that great for treatment because the medicine isn't actually on your skin long enough to penetrate and make any difference.

Make sure you wash your back after you finish rinsing your hair in case any of your hair stuff is causing it. Use a gentle cleanser, some light exfoliation is fine but you don't want to be sandpapering your skin off or anything because it'll irritate it and cause even more breakouts. Then treat it. The stridex is a chemical exfoliant too, irritated skin tends to like that better than physical exfoliation.

My son uses the Neutrogena Body Clear body wash. It has really worked well.

I love this stuff. Pricey, but a little goes a long way.
