    Moisturizer

    Advertisements
So I've been using the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing lotion exclusively for the last 5+ years. I don't use the 3-step system, just the moisturizer, and it works really well for my skin (I have dry/sensitive acne-prone. joy.)

I noticed last summer that they added a + to their lotion, but I was still able to get the regular one online. Well, now my supply is gone, and I can't find the original anywhere I've been reading up and apparently they discontinued their original. I have NO idea why... that thing had a cult following. I got a sample to try of the +, and it's just too greasy, sticky for me.

I'm so bummed. Why mess with something good!

So, what do you use? and/or do you know someone that deals original clinique dramatically different moisturizing lotion

I've always used Oil of Olay for my face. Lately I have been acne prone too so I will use a gentle salcylic acid wash and then Oil of Olay. It's the only thing that makes my skin soft and not oily!

I have fun skin. half of it gets dry spots, the other have is normal. and its acne prone too.
I use Boots No 7. Its online, and at target. and if you do during certain hours they have a specialist in the aisle for you. (most locations). I love it. THey have a lot of different lines. and its from europe, which normally is better for you. Less chemicals and such.

I use the first aid beauty ultra repair cream and I love it! My skin is weird, it's always dry in the morning but it gets oily really quickly throughout the day for no apparent reason. Plus I use retin-a and it can be pretty irritating. I really like this though because it sinks in quickly, is super moisturizing without feeling too heavy, and it doesn't make my skin shiny. I don't like having to use a separate SPF during the day but whatever. Plus it lasts forever, I use it every day morning and night and my jar is a little over halfway gone. I bought it in September, I don't think that's too bad.

It also has no detectable scent and it doesn't burn the shit out of my skin whenever I use it, like cetaphil and cerave do.

Have you tried the dramatically different gel? It works really well. I don't personally like the consistency, but I know a lot of people who do. I used to use the same Clinique lotion as you years ago, but I've been trying different things since then.
My skin is normal-oily so I'm not sure this really helps, but I like this stuff Purify Daily Moisturizer - NUDE Skincare | Sephora

If you prefer Clinique, the Moisture Surge one worked great for me. I have sensitive/acne prone skin and it didn't make me greasy at all. The Clinique lady recommended it to me because it is lighter and has aloe or something in it.
