    Help USMC Ball Dress

    Advertisements
So I need to find a dress for the ball in December, and I'm tired of the selection at David's Bridal. Does anyone have any recommendations for other stores, or even online stores?

Sometimes Dillard's has a nice selection, but it can be a little hit or miss.

Nordstrom. Great selection online (in a surprisingly wide price range) and super generous return policies. I haven't had nearly as much luck in their stores, though I have cord some amazing dresses at jaw-propping prices at Nordstrom's Rack if you have one near you. Those are hit or miss and you have to inspect the dress to make sure there is no damage, but when you find something, it can be 60% or more off.

I haven't had nearly as much luck at places like TJ Maxx, Marshalls, etc. but they are worth trying.

I'm using Rent the Runway for my dress. I've never done it before so I can't tell you how I like it yet but it does seem like a really cool concept. You get two sizes just invade the first one doesn't fit and you can get a four or eight day rental, plus $25 off your first one.

Rent the Runway! I used it for the AF ball and it is a wonderful service. I'll use it again for sure!
This is the dress I wore:

I also just used rent the runway for my ball this past Saturday. It was my second time using the site and I love it! They send you two sizes just in case one doesn't fit right and you can get a second back up dress for just $25 I believe, though I've never done that and I loved both my dresses.

Here is the one I rented
