    Blonde vs. Brunette

    Advertisements
Okay, this is my natural hair color:

Its boring, bland, poopy. I haven't dyed my hair for about four months. Which, by my timeline is INSANELY too long. Its finally healthy again, so what's better than killing it?

Anyway, should I dye it a deeper chocolate brown OR should I go for the gold and go blonde? I've done blonde once before and am aware of the process. I just quit before I got it to the color I wanted - I ended at a strawberry blonde. I've done every color under the sun, so these two are my only options this time around. No red, black, blue, or purple for me this time. Plus, I have a retro shoot coming up in a month, so keep that in mind, too.

    So, what do you think?

I think you should go dark or do lowlights.

I don't think that going blonde would be a good idea. Yes, you said that your hair is healthy, but do you really want to wreck it again by going blonde? Plus, fall is coming up so going darker is a safe bet for a good idea

I wouldn't destroy your hair again and go blonde.

I'm voting for the dark or lowlights.

Being that summer is coming to an end and fall is on its way, I would suggest doing a deep warm chocolate brown like this:

I would also suggest using a shine serum daily as well to keep your hair from looking dull.

I've been using Wen and putting coconut oil in my hair overnight once a week. Its done wonders for my hair. I can't do the daily serum. I've tried. My hair just gets really oily and flat.
