    Hair Help [imgs]

    Advertisements
I am attempting to grow my hair out and it is driving me nuts. I have no idea what to do with it, it looks horrible, and is making me feel frumpy.

This is what it looks like right now

Any ideas of what I can/should do with it while I am growing it out. I want to get it mid to top back.

Also I am liking it dark but am wondering if I should keep it black or add color back into it? Or just let it grow into it's natural color. Or make it light. My natural color is a little funny. I was born a toe head (white blond hair) my eyebrows are black. My natural hair is light blondish red and in the summer and a more ash color in the winter.

    For reference:

    Black with Color and short

    Short Short light with color

    Light and bob-ish

Layered and little darker than natural

    Long and natural

When my hair was short and growing out I'd always just use bobby pins to pull random sections back, away from my face. It's hard to have it look cute when it is at that awkward "in between" stage. I like the color of your hair in the second to last photo.

I saw this on pinterest the other day:

Really, I think all you need to do is blow it out a little rather than having it sit flat.

    be cool.

Maybe a side braid? that way it's away from your face, you know the braid I'm talking about like with your bangs above your forehead? That might be cute. And I agree with the bobby pin idea, you can do twists, or side things, all kinds of random stuff!

I suggest a side part and a blowout? Try the side part at least, you never know, could make a huge difference! Also, smile, you'll FEEL less "frumpy"!
That blue is cute, reminds me of butterfly wings! I do like your hair better dyed dark.

I did the same all the time when my hair was shorter. Bobby pins are miracle workers. I still use them when I'm feeling lazy and want a quick, cute, style. You can find videos on YouTube with various hair tutorials/ideas. I'm guilty of frequenting it Good luck!
