....like seriously. I can't stop touching my legs. I found a link online to make your own sugar scrub and a shaving routine so I tried it out last night and it's THE. BEST.

Gluten Free Navy Wife: Softest, Silkiest Legs

To make the scrub just mix
    2 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup oil (i used an oil from Sally's - Proclaim Natural 7 oil)
    5 tablespoons of lemon juice

I also added some honey and vanilla, just for fun.

Soak in the tub for 5 minutes or so.
    Shave your legs and rinse.
    Then sugar scrub them.
The shave again, the oil will work as shaving cream or whatever you use so you don't need anything this time.
    Then sugar scrub them again.
    Rinse and you are done!

Seriously my legs have never felt this good. Try it!

And I have everything I need. I think I'll try it with coconut oil. I love that stuff! I'll post how it works out. Thank you!

Sounds amazing, definitely doing before I go see DF
Just one question though, is that oil... cooking oil or for the skin? Excuse the beauty-newb question

The oil I used was like argon hair oil, but on the website she used olive oil and said you could use any kind of cooking oil if that what you had.

I used coconut, which can be used in cooking or for hair and skin. It worked really well!

When you shave your leg the first time, obviously, it's going to remove the hair. When you scrub after you shave, it removes any dead skin. By shaving your leg again after you use the sugar scrub, you are getting all of that dead skin off of your leg. You will need to rinse your razor frequently (you will see why).
    This was in the blog.

Makes sense but too much work for me.

Yea, it takes off all of your dead skin, and you can tell. My razor was getting all kinds of junk in it (gross I know) and I wasn't using any kind of cream to shave so it was all dead skin.

I agree that it's alot of work, but for a special occasion it would be awesome.
