    Remedy for Oily Hair?

    Advertisements
So, I've used the same shampoo forever. But this summer I've stopped heat styling my hair (basically because I hardly leave the house), and my hair has turned from dry, to oily, and my showering habits haven't changed. My hair is oily the next morning after a shower.

Anyone have a good shampoo or remedy for this?

I love Paul Mitchell shampoo! I have oily hair and I can go longer than 24 hours w/o having to wash my hair again. Also, your hair gets used to the shampoo you use so changing it every once in a while is a good idea.

Dawn dish soap. I use it about once a month or so. I don't suggest anymore than that because it could be rough on your hair. Also, avoid any conditioners that use wax.

Baby powder works just as well as dry shampoo. Just put it on your fingers first and not directly on your hair so you won't see it. I have really dark hair, and you can't tell.

Walmart doesn't have any? I just use the cheap suave dry shampoo from walmart and it's the best one out of 5 different kinds I've tried. I love it.

I use Green Tree shampoo or conditioner, I don't remember which...every once in a while in addition to my normal stuff. This year my mom got me some for Christmas, so I didn't even have to worry about it.
