    Thinning scissors!

My hair is SO thick. DH came home with these today, so I used them! A lot! (I sorta had to stop myself before I over-thinned ) It took a good half-an-hour to get thru this. Also, just to realize HOW thick my hair is, my cut is above my shoulders, just under my ears. This is all thickness!

It's been WAY too damn hot for thick luscious hair.

    My head feels better-

The working station, after the thinning

    The aftermath

The result was this face/small kitten sized clump of hair

Lucky. My hair is super thin. I have to keep it short to make it appear that it has some volume.

Woah! How do they work? Like, what's the chances of me completely screwing up my hair and looking like an idiot?

Slim to none. I only made 1 cut that was sorta bad.... They're made so that they don't actually just make a straight chop. And you're supposed to make the cut at about a 45 degree angle, half-way down your hair shaft. It just blends into your style!

It's actually REALLLLLLY simple. I always had my stylist do it when I got my hair cut, but I don't know where to go around here for a hair cut, and the thickness was just getting too much, so I got some these to do it myself. I think it will help between hair cuts too. It's make it a bit more lively by pulling out all that hair.

    You're welcome.

If you're afraid to mess it up the first time yourself, at least get your stylist to do it if you have thick hair. I always have to ask for it. It's not really a standard thing. But it's a MUST for me!

    You're welcome.

Glad you were able to do it on your own! Just remember to clip up the top section of your hair so you're not thinning what's going to be seen

Thanks love! I used to get it done at the hair salon too But I have gotten really cheap and only get my haircut like twice a year now I have a friend back at home who cuts hair so maybe next time I'm visiting I can get her to show me how to do it myself!
